Registered Nurse (RN) (FT, Nights)
What You'll Do
- Assess consumers and document pertinent information including Triage, Behavioral Health, Physical Health, and/or Substance Abuse issues
- Demonstrate knowledge of Crisis Intervention and de-escalate potentially aggressive situations
- Provide education to consumers and their families regarding Behavioral Health diagnosis, medications, and treatments
- Complete detailed Nursing Assessments with individuals and document pertinent information including Triage, Medical/Behavioral Health assessments, and medication administration utilizing appropriate assessment tools
- Accurately record all medication brought in by individual on medication reconciliation/storage form
- Plan individual treatment as part of the Multidisciplinary Clinical team
- Provide education concerning Psychiatric diagnosis, treatment options, psychopharmacology, and overall health literacy to individuals, families, and all others involved in the individual's care
- Intervene with appropriate verbal interventions to diffuse out of control or potentially dangerous behaviors
- Demonstrate ability to effectively use therapeutic option theory and technique and describe and demonstrate their roles and responsibilities
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Seclusion/Restraint standards, guidelines, techniques and initiate documentation and debriefing with individuals for any seclusion/restraint incidents as required
- Accurately transcribe Provider orders and administer medications as prescribed
- Attempt to have individual sign medication consent form
- Perform chart checks and sign off as a second noted on medications prescribed
- Draw labs and provide wound care as ordered by Providers when required
- Complete nurse to nurse at discharge or when accepting individual from another facility
- Perform all other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- Graduated from an accredited Nursing program
- Unrestricted active license as Registered Professional Nurse through State Board of Nursing or hold a multistate licensure privilege
- Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques
- American Heart Association BLS

- Complete all credentialing requirements within the required time period, including but not limited to obtaining a National Provider Identifier (NPI), Medallion enrollment, Medicare enrollment, and any other necessary credentials as required for the role
Physical Requirements
- Safely perform physical interventions (e.g., standing, pivoting, reaching, kneeling, lowering to the floor, and supporting another person's weight)
- Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Tolerate prolonged walking, standing, and observation in a fast-paced environment
- Work with individuals who may exhibit agitation, aggression, or unpredictable behavior
It Would Be Great If You Had
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- At least 3 years of psychiatric, behavioral health or relevant experience
- Previous emergency room or crisis psychiatric care experience
- Experience working with individuals with addiction and addiction management

Earn More with Shift Differentials: Maximize Your Earnings With Additional Hourly Pay: +$2/hr – Monday-Thursday Nights; +$6/hr – Friday-Sunday Nights; +$2/hr – Saturday-Sunday Days.
Pay
Kirkland, Washington Pay Range: $49 - $70.75 USD. Actual compensation is based on relevant experience, education, internal equity, and budget.
