About the Role

Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients, ensuring safety and quality of care in accordance with facility policies.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts admissions and shift assessments, analyzes patient data, and communicates changes to physicians.
  • Participates in developing and evaluating treatment plans.
  • Documents nursing care and implements physician orders.
  • Monitors patient safety and environment.
  • Supervises care delivered by LPNs and techs.
  • Educates patients and families.
  • Applies evidence-based practice and adheres to professional nursing standards.
  • Responds ethically per the ANA Code of Ethics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Nursing degree from an accredited program.
  • Minimum one year RN experience.
  • Active licensure in relevant states.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform patient-related movements.
  • Strong communication skills and critical thinking.
  • Adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certifications: BLS and RN licensure.
