About the Role
Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients, ensuring safety and quality of care in accordance with facility policies.
Responsibilities
- Conducts admissions and shift assessments, analyzes patient data, and communicates changes to physicians.
- Participates in developing and evaluating treatment plans.
- Documents nursing care and implements physician orders.
- Monitors patient safety and environment.
- Supervises care delivered by LPNs and techs.
- Educates patients and families.
- Applies evidence-based practice and adheres to professional nursing standards.
- Responds ethically per the ANA Code of Ethics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Minimum one year RN experience.
- Active licensure in relevant states.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform patient-related movements.
- Strong communication skills and critical thinking.
- Adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
- Certifications: BLS and RN licensure.
