A Day in the Life of an RN - Behavioral Health Clinic Coordinator
The RN Clinic Coordinator plays a vital role in an interdisciplinary team, supporting services in behavioral health, and working closely with the HOPE Clinic to address opioid addiction care. Responsibilities include:
- Direct patient care through assessments, education, refill management, care coordination, and administering medications or vaccinations.
- Performing various medical procedures.
- Maintaining meticulous records.
- Adapting to diverse patient needs across different care scenarios.
- Collaborating with clinicians, LPNs, and CMAs to deliver integrated patient care.
- Ensuring effective communication within the team.
- Maintaining flexible schedules for regular follow-ups with patients and coordinating care plans with physicians.

Qualifications
- Education and Experience Required:
- American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Minnesota RN license
- Prior clinic nursing experience in behavior health is preferred.
