Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in all areas
• Provide teaching and discharge relief charge as needed
• Supervise care utilizing standards of care, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate diploma or BSN)
• Minimum of 6 months to one year of medical-surgical hospital experience required
• Previous OB experience preferred
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM training required within 6 months of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in inpatient obstetrics
• EFM certification
