PURPOSE - RN
The RN is responsible for monitoring the health and wellbeing of our residents and provides leadership support and assistance with resident care and services.
Responsibilities
- Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents through the assessment / Personalized Service Plan (PSP) process
- Ensures proper follow through and documentation for residents with a change in clinical care needs
- Aids the Wellness Director with completing the clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and PSP to accurately reflect the resident monthly
- Informs the Wellness Director and/or Executive Director of any changes in medication or service level that may result in a higher tier level or potential move-out
- Assists with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly for each resident prior to completing monthly wellness health updates
- Affords direct resident care as needed
Requirements
- CERTIFICATION - RN: Must be a Registered Nurse
- EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE: A minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred; Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred; Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times
Skills And Abilities
- RN: Understanding of infection control procedures; Proficient in using MS Office; Understanding and ability to implement Personalized Service Plans; Understanding and embrace of the assisted living philosophy; Understanding of nursing function in assisted living, quality of care and quality of life objectives; Demonstrated knowledge of state regulations; Proficient in using state audit compliance tools; Proficient in time management skills and adherence to deadlines; Exceptional grammar and documentation skills; Understanding of basic concepts of risk management
Benefits
$1500 Sign-On Bonus paid every 3 months for up to 5 years**
