About the role

Blakehurst is seeking Registered Nurses to join their team. They provide high-quality patient care alongside fellow caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.
• Administers direct care as necessary.
• Administers prescribed medications to patients.
• Makes rounds to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
• Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition.
• Aids in developing comprehensive care plans.

Qualifications

• All nurses must be currently licensed in the State.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields, at least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• All new hires must pass a preemployment screening process, including a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test, and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
• Some roles may require proof of MMRV (measles, mumps, rubella, & varicella) vaccination.
