Responsibilities
- Ensure all nursing personnel comply with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures.
- Responsible for surveillance, rounding, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting of healthcare-associated infections.
- Support the development and implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with the facility administration.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
Qualifications
- Prior experience managing staff is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- Computer knowledge.
- Previous long-term care experience is required.
License
Must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
Salary
Up to $115,000 annually based on experience.
