About the role

The RN Ambulatory Team Lead – Women's Health position is located at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus. This role is within the Professional Area of Nursing – Experienced and the Department of 3043 OB/GYN WHI Admin-Main Campus Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily operations, workflows, delivery of care and caregiver education as needed.
  • Direct patient support, including assisting in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
  • Resolve daily operational issues.
  • Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
  • Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
  • Aid in preparing department specific education.
  • Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Two years of recent RN experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience

Physical Requirements

  • Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
  • May require some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
  • Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.
