Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.
- Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
- Cookout and resolve daily operational issues.
- Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
- Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
- Aid in preparing department specific education.
- Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.
- Some RN Ambulatory work may require travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures in various locations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN Program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Two years of recent RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience
- Two years of Ambulatory RN experience
Physical Requirements
- Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
- May requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
- Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.
Pay Range
- Minimum hourly: $34.50
- Maximum hourly: $54.40

- Short- and Long-term Disability Coverage – Short-term disability is available after one continuous year of regular full-time service; long-term disability begins after 90 days.
