About the Role
Join our team as an RN Ambulatory Specialty Lead in a smaller, close-knit office where you’ll work alongside supportive providers committed to high-quality, team-based care. In this role, you will lead daily operations by coordinating staff schedules, onboarding and training new employees, and providing ongoing education and support to foster professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Conduct onboarding and training for new employees
- Provide ongoing training, support, and development for current staff
- Perform triage duties and prioritize patient or workflow needs as appropriate
- Oversee and manage supply ordering to maintain inventory levels
- Provide occasional support for CMAs supporting provider schedules
Requirements
Education: Associates degree OR Bachelor's degree in Nursing, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
Additional Skills (required): Excellent human relation skills, possess effective oral and written communication skills, possess leadership and problem solving skills, operate personal computer.
Qualifications
The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, delegate and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports creating an environment that allows team members to be present with patients and families.
