Job Description

About the role

You will be working at the Ambulatory Procedure Center within University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of a surgical team that performs multispecialty procedures.
  • Absorb the overall responsibility for managing the operating room to which you are assigned.
  • Have the opportunity to circulate, as well as scrub.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Work Experience: Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience Preferred
  • Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience Preferred
  • 1 year or more of RN experience Preferred

Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations

Pay

  • Additional components of compensation may include: On-call pay

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday with rotating start times between 5:30am – 10:30am
