RN AMBULATORY PLASTICS AND RECONSTRUCTION NURSE

Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during in-office procedures
- Prepare patients for surgery, including pre-op education and documentation
- Provide post-operative care and patient instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families
- Identify, document, and provide patient education based on learning needs of the patient
- Participate in evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice
- Participate in professional development based on the nursing professional standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least 1 year of relevant experience or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 1 year of relevant experience
- Florida RN License
- Previous experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or surgical nursing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and patient safety protocols
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
- Operating Room or procedural nursing experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least 1 year of relevant experience or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 1 year of relevant experience
- Florida RN License
- An applicant for this position, who will be or is seeking Florida licensure by endorsement, must not have any National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) reports, unless the applicant has successfully appealed to have their name removed from the NPDB.
