RN Ambulatory - Pain Clinic

Location: 550 Munson Avenue, Traverse City, MI. Schedule: Full‑Time, 32–40 hours weekly; office hours 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for assigned patients from arrival through departure, with quality care and patient safety as the first concern.
• Interact courteously and tactfully with patients.
• Participate as a respected clinical expert and valued partner in care, serving as a mentor, educator, and health‑care advocate.
• Engage in professional nursing practice, clinical decision‑making, and quality‑of‑work‑life improvements.
• Collaborate with a close‑knit clinic team, assisting fellow teammates and providers as needed for optimal patient care.
• Assist with day‑to‑day clinic operations.
• Work in a small office environment without nights, on‑call shifts, or weekends — supporting work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
• BSN required within 5 years of hire date (for those hired before July 1, 2024, obtaining a BSN is encouraged).
• Experience in an ambulatory setting is desirable.
• Previous pain clinic experience is highly preferred.
• All employees must be vaccinated or have lab‑confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
• All employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and annually thereafter, or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption.
