RN - After Hours 7 on 7 off

Role Summary: The Afterhours Registered Nurse provides comprehensive hospice care to patients and families outside regular hours, including nights and weekends. Key Responsibilities Triages patient needs via phone until an in-person visit is possibleResponds promptly to after-hours crisis calls from patients and familiesPerforms initial nursing evaluations to determine hospice eligibility within 48 hours of referralConducts after-hours visits such as admissions, death visits, recertifications, and routine careAssesses and reassesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, and environmental needs every 15 daysDocuments issues, goals, interventions, and patient/family responsesProvides care in diverse home environments regardless of patient background Qualifications & Skills Current, unrestricted RN licensure in the practice stateValid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation or public transitPreferred: CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), 1+ years of clinical experience Compensation & Benefits: Salary ranges from $70,832 to $106,248 annually, depending on factors like experience and location.
