RN - Advanced Care Unit - Proctor

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient status through interviews, observation, and physical exams.
• Develop and modify individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to achieve patient outcomes and document progress accurately.
• Ensure patient safety, perform bedside lab testing, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Cook up interdisciplinary care, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Educate patients and families using age-appropriate, culturally sensitive strategies, ensuring safety and understanding.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data collection, and process enhancements to improve patient satisfaction and care standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Educational background in Nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
