RN - Advanced Care/Stepdown

We are seeking a registered nurse for an Advanced Care Unit specializing in the care of acutely unstable patients who do not meet ICU criteria but require frequent assessments and interventions. The unit features 24 beds, a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3, and a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and modifying care plans, administering nursing interventions, and ensuring patient safety and documentation accuracy.Monitor patients 24/7 in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.Use critical care equipment such as cardiac monitors, IV lines, arterial/central lines, and various IV drips.Communicate effectively with patients and families through hourly rounding and bedside reports.Maintain compliance with departmental competencies and safety protocols. Qualifications Include Active RN licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 daysAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 yearOver 1 year of nursing experience Key skills: critical care procedures, patient assessment, teamwork, safety awareness, effective communication, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
