About the role

The Admissions RN at Empath Hospice is a key position that involves assessing eligibility for Empath Health Network of Care, advocating for optimal access to care, and completing the admission process based on specific care program guidelines and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess eligibility for Empath Health Network of Care
• Advocate for optimal access to the right care at the right time in any care setting
• Complete the admission process based on care program specifics, guidelines, and patient-specific needs
• Exhibit passion for the services offered and engage in mission support
• Portray excellence in customer service and relationship-building internally and externally

Requirements

• Education and/or Experience: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Minimum of or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Licensure: Valid Florida license as a Registered Nurse
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License
