RN - Admissions Coordinator-Rehab Unit

About the role
The employee is responsible for coordination of the admission process to the rehabilitation unit by performing the pre-admission screenings. The employee reviews appropriate clinical and financial information and communicates with the Medical Director in determining admission status. The employee facilitates the completion of the admission orders. Communicated admission determination status with all referral sources. Facilitates the admission of patients to the Physical Rehabilitation Unit.
Requirements
- Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state.
- If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse state of residence.
- If no experience as an RN or LPN in a hospital setting or it has been more than 5 years since last worked in a hospital setting, nurses must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
