Role Overview: This position involves providing professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, execute appropriate interventions, and document progress. Collaborate with team members, coordinate patient care, and advocate for patients' needs. Perform bedside lab testing, troubleshoot equipment, and promote safety protocols. Engage in patient education tailored to individual needs, considering cultural and developmental factors. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, data collection, and quality assurance activities to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills: Active Illinois RN licensure, BLS certification, and a nursing diploma are required. Candidates should demonstrate advanced reading, writing, and communication skills, proficiency with basic computer applications, and technical knowledge of medical equipment. Ability to respond effectively to diverse patient and coworker needs, maintain confidentiality, and project professionalism is essential. Experience in evidence-based practice and teamwork is emphasized. Key Duties: Assess patient status, modify care plans based on evaluations, ensure accurate documentation, and support team collaboration. Foster professional growth, share clinical knowledge, and prioritize patient safety.
