RN - Acute Care Teaching Unit

Join a dedicated Nurse Residency Unit as a preceptor, supporting the onboarding of new graduate nurses in a state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities Include Providing high-quality nursing care to acute care patients across various units.Utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.Coordinating activities of assigned staff to ensure quality care and adherence to organizational policies.Fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for new nurses during their orientation. Qualifications Graduate of a nursing program with at least one year of hospital experience preferred.Current Georgia RN license or multi-state license, with BLS certification.Bachelor’s degree and advanced certifications are a plus. Skills And Attributes Enjoyment of teaching and mentoring new nurses.Strong clinical skills and professional accountability.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to patient acuity and volume.
