About the Role
This onsite nursing position in the Surgical Oncology department involves providing direct patient care in a high-acuity acute care setting, utilizing evidence-based practices within a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes patient wellness, safety, and quality outcomes, including precepting new staff and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care using the nursing process
- Prioritize patient safety and evidence-based practices
- Support team collaboration and precepting
- Contribute to safe, high-quality care in specialty units such as Med-Surg
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Valid RN licensure
- Minimum 6 months RN experience
- BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
- Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills
