RN - Acute Care Surgical Oncology - Night Shift

About the Role

This onsite nursing position in the Surgical Oncology department involves providing direct patient care in a high-acuity acute care setting, utilizing evidence-based practices within a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes patient wellness, safety, and quality outcomes, including precepting new staff and adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care using the nursing process
• Prioritize patient safety and evidence-based practices
• Support team collaboration and precepting
• Contribute to safe, high-quality care in specialty units such as Med-Surg

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Valid RN licensure
• Minimum 6 months RN experience
• BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills
