RN Acute Care Rehabilitation Unit

Role Overview: This is a part-time, onsite Registered Nurse position in the rehabilitation unit, focused on providing high-quality direct patient care in an acute care setting. The nurse will utilize the nursing process, prioritize patient wellness, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. Responsibilities Deliver top-of-scope nursing care, including specialty acute care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity.Support evidence-based practice and safety standards at the point of care.Precept and mentor new healthcare staff to promote clinical proficiency.Participate in ongoing education and competency validation supported by clinical educators. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program (for less than 3 years' experience).Current RN licensure and at least 6 months of nursing experience.Valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, with certification valid through sixty days of hire.Strong clinical skills, teamwork, and commitment to evidence-based care and continuous learning.
