RN Acute Care Med Surg Nights

Role: Provides direct patient care in an acute Med-Surg setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Performs top-of-scope nursing duties, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, prioritizes patient wellness, models proficiency through precepting, and contributes to safety and evidence-based practices. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure, at least 6 months of nursing experience, and BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross. Must have a valid RN license prior to start. Skills: Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning. Experience in specialty acute care units and certifications aligned with evidence-based care are preferred. Key Duties: Deliver patient-centered care, support safety and quality initiatives, precept new staff, and uphold professional standards within the unit.
