RN Acute Care - Hospice

About the role

The Registered Nurse in Acute Care Hospice provides compassionate, patient-centered care to terminally ill patients and their families in home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Performing nursing visits
• Managing pain and symptoms
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Conducting assessments
• Ensuring accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, or completion of a relevant residency program
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• BSN or ongoing nursing education preferred
• Experience in hospice, medical-surgical, or long-term care preferred
• Certification as a Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) optional
