RN- 4 South, day shift

About the role

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse for our 4 South Unit. Our nursing staff provides knowledgeable and skilled care within a unique interdisciplinary team. We offer quarterly education workshops.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Integrates patient and family centered care and the quality caring factors into practice.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on the nursing professionals standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.

Requirements

• BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least one year of relevant experience or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 1 year of relevant experience and enrolled to complete BSN from an ACEN or CCNE within 3 years of hire.
• FL RN License.
• BCLS Certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inpatient hospital experience.
• Medical Surgery experience as a registered nurse.
• Good customer service for patient interaction.

Skills

• Knowledge of the nursing process.
• Ability to integrate patient and family centered care.
• Effective communication and education skills.
• Experience with evidence-based improvement activities.
• Professional development skills.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $36.63 - $54.93 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
