About the role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and exceptional interpersonal skills to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The position is in the Emergency Department with 1 opening, day shift, 36 weekly guaranteed hours, and every other weekend may be required. The unit has 23 beds, patient ratios of 4 to 6, uses Epic EMR, and serves a diverse range of emergency cases. Dress code: scrub color not specified; no unacceptable attire specified.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI (or MOAB), NIHSS (CPI or MOAB must be obtained prior to start)
• Education modules: Standard ED competencies

Skills

• Charge experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to manage a diverse range of emergency cases
