Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in urgent need. Shift Information This position is for the night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of New Mexico or a current compact license.Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) Certification.Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification. Responsibilities The Emergency Room RN will be responsible for the following: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the emergency setting.Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to patients.Utilizing critical thinking skills to make swift decisions in response to patient needs.Documenting patient assessments and interventions accurately and timely.Providing emotional support and education to patients and families.
