RN 20P - 5NE Medical Unit - PRN - 1st Shift
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses patient needs and priorities for care through systematic evaluation. The RN develops and implements a plan of care based on identified patient needs. The RN monitors the patient's response to care and adjusts the plan as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Affirmatively assesses patients to identify their needs and priorities for care.
- Develops and implements a comprehensive plan of care based on patient assessment.
- Evaluates the patient's response to care and adjusts the plan as needed to ensure progress towards expected outcomes.
- Communicates effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided and documents outcomes accurately.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Alabama licensure.
- Experience preferred but not required; new graduates accepted.
- BLS certification required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
- ACLS certification within one year of hire.
