About the role

Provides for the planning, coordination, and provision of nursing care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on specified shifts. This position is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities

• Care planning
• Medication administration
• Noting physiological changes
• Addressing psychosocial needs of neonates
• Education and training of patients and their families
• Supervising and delegating care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice
• Cross‑training and floating to Pediatrics as needed
