RMH Driver Volunteer

Description

At our 5 Minnesota locations, we keep families close to the care they need.

• Transport meals, supplies or donations efficiently between the four locations or outside company
• Aid with loading and unloading the van
• Track mileage and gas level

Typical Hours and Commitment

• Weekly or bi-weekly shift commitment
• Meal delivery trips on weekdays from 2pm-4pm
• Donation trips on an as needed basis with flexible timing
• Minimum commitment of one full semester or 50 hours

Training

• An overview of your position will be provided during orientation and house tour
• Directions and tips for driving the van will be given at the start of your first shift
• Additional training and guidance will be provided prior to each shift
• Criminal background check and health screening required before starting the role

Qualifications

• Must be in possession of a current, valid driver's license
• Must have a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a large passenger van
• Good customer service skills
