RMF Cyber Analyst

About the role

OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor located in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking applicants for an RMF Cyber Analyst position to support our Army customer in San Antonio, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide Information Assurance (IA) and Cyber Security support of the management, operational, and technical security controls and control enhancements employed within or inherited by an information technology (IT) system to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls in accordance with NIST 800-53.
• Work with the team to review RMF Packages for completeness and technical accuracy.
• Assess documented designs for compliance with NIST 800-53, NIST 800-82, and DOD related policies for on premise and cloud-based solutions.
• Review assessment documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• 3+ years of experience in technical IT, Networking, Cyber, and/or RMF related work.
• Knowledge of IA policies, procedures and deliverables, including NIST, RMF, and FISMA.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance; an active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline (experience may substitute for degree).

Skills

• CompTIA Security+ CE Certification (desired but not required).
• Understanding of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and implementation of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Understanding of Cyber Security and Information Assurance requirements as described in DOD 5205.13 and DOD 8510.01.
• Computing Environment certification (Windows 10, Linux+, etc.).
