About the role
Sensus, a Xylem brand, is seeking an RMA Technician to support product testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis for returned equipment at our Morrisville, NC location. This role collaborates with customers and internal teams to diagnose product issues, document findings, and assist with repair evaluations and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Test, diagnose, and evaluate returned products using standard engineering and troubleshooting techniques
- Hands-on hardware testing, failure analysis, repair support, and detailed reporting of findings
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to diagnose product issues
Requirements
- Average 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred
- High School diploma with military electronics/avionics training or related experience considered
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience troubleshooting and testing electronic equipment preferred
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Hand soldering experience or IPC/JEDEC certification is a plus
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the facility as needed
- Ability to work safely in an office and lab environment
Qualifications
