Responsibilities

  • Perform intake and coordination for RMA equipment received from customers.
  • Coordinate with Production Leads and vendors for resources required for calibration/repair of RMA equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of RMA order status and perform follow-up.
  • Interface with the Sales team to communicate ship dates, failure analysis/repair quotes, and amendments.
  • Prepare purchase orders for outside vendor calibration/repair services.
  • Manage delivery dates of calibration services from vendors.
  • Maintain RMA order status and changes in delivery dates.
  • Maintain accurate repair records and report raw material usage for repairs.
  • Review completed calibration data certificates/discs and other pertinent records for accuracy.
  • Work with the Quality Team Lead and Quality Specialist to ensure calibration services provided by vendors meet ISO17025 and A2LA requirements.
  • Stage RMA orders for out-bound shipment; confirm returns are complete and accurate.
  • Assist in maintaining in-house calibration equipment.
  • Develop, promote, ensure compliance with, and support continuous improvement of the MSQS system.
  • Perform other related duties as directed for the efficient operation of The Modal Shop and the production department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of related experience, including servicing material returns and working in customer service.
  • Proven organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with service material returns and working in customer service in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with vendor management purchasing via ERP.

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
