River Culinary Support (Glacier Raft Co)

About the role

This is a full-time, seasonal position as part of our Spring/Summer 2026 hiring. The role is expected to run from May 28, 2026, through September 10, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality hot and cold foods based on recipes developed by the Kitchen Manager
• Preparation of staff lunches for all Glacier Raft Company Staff
• Label and date all food
• Provide assistance to non-kitchen staff who are in the kitchen to help ensure proper Food Safety Protocol
• Prepare various foods in bulk that can be used on full day and riverside dinner trips
• Prepare and pack deli lunches for full day fishing trips
• Prepare and pack food and hard gear for full day raft trips
• Prepare, pack, and serve food to guests for the Riverside Dinner trips
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation, prep areas, and food storage in keeping with state and federal regulations for food safety
• Aid other team members where necessary
• Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties

Requirements

• Culinary experience preferred, but not necessary – we are happy to train!
• Valid driver's license
• Willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
• Committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
• Organized with a great eye for detail
• Kind to others and always bring your best
• A good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
• Helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile
