Risk Support Specialist
The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. Since 1946, we've relied on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service. We're hiring a Risk Support Specialist to join County Materials in Marathon, WI.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily tasks related to risk management processes, compliance tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Operate and maintain risk tracking systems, vendor databases, and documentation tools to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
- Follow all safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal risk management policies and standards.
- Support team operations across risk management, claims administration, insurance renewals, and vendor oversight activities.
- Aid in key tasks such as risk documentation, data analysis, claims tracking, compliance reporting, vendor onboarding, contract review support, and audit preparation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications
- Associate's degree (or higher) in Risk Management, Business Administration, Insurance, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, vendor management, procurement, or related field.
Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, SharePoint)
- Experience with vendor management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Strong understanding of insurance terminology and processes
