Responsibilities
- Greets visitors in person and by telephone.
- Screens calls, schedules appointments, provides information and refers callers to appropriate Team Members within the department.
- Clerical work: Scans paperwork for reports, attaches documents to reports, files, and maintains department records.
- Processes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and composes memoranda.
- Administers the workers compensation program: Files claims with TPA CCMSI, prepares light duty/permanent duty offers, C3’s, and other state documentation, and maintains an electronic record for each claim.
- Maintains Team Member files and records, including adding/removing certifications and other documentation.
- Operates various office equipment and learns and operates iTrak dispatch/report writing software.
- Obtains and maintains security-related certifications such as CPR/AED/First Aid, Defensive Tactics, Blood Borne Pathogens, etc.
- Assumes the role of or assists security officers in emergencies or special events.
- Inventories and purchases office and first aid materials for the department.
- Makes necessary arrangements for department meetings.
- Maintains and logs all certificates of insurance for the property.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of six months of clerical/secretarial experience.
- Minimum of one year of workers compensation administration experience.
- CRP/AED/First Aid Certification (obtained once employed).
- Nevada Gaming Control Board License Alcohol Awareness Certification.
- Other certifications as needed.

Work Environment
- Works on-site at the casino and interfaces with external/internal customers, Team Members, and vendors on a regular basis.
- Work schedule varies and may include Saturday/Sunday and evening work depending on the needs of the operation.
- May be asked to work in high-stress environments during emergency situations.
Physical Demands
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
