About the role
Risk Mitigation Specialists support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Office of Entity Vetting (EV).
Responsibilities
- Prepare, implement, and oversee routine to moderately complex RMSs addressing risk indicators.
- Audit companies' eligibility for Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) risk indicators.
- Conduct business and security-related research and analysis of companies to inform decision makers of risks impacting initial and continued entity eligibility.
- Evaluate relevant analytic products to develop effective risk management strategies addressing risks impacting eligibility of a company.
- Negotiate and implement required strategies with industry, and provide oversight support to other government stakeholders and DCSA field assets.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in risk treatment or risk management in the areas of law, finance, business, operations, insurance, security, manufacturing, audits, or compliance.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience or education in risk management systems or guidelines, such as International Organization of Standardization 31000, Committee of Sponsoring Organizations, or other Enterprise Risk Management models.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Ability and skill in communicating verbally and in writing.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience applying data analysis, trend analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Contractor must be knowledgeable of data manipulation within databases and Microsoft software packages.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and recommend solutions.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in conducting strategic communications with key stakeholders, including preparing written reports, leading conferences, and giving briefings.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in navigating technology effectively and efficiently at classified and unclassified levels (i.e. SharePoint, Microsoft Office Tools, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category.

Pay
$95,000 - $105,000
Schedule
Standard 8-4, may flex an hour at gov direction. Currently 2 days per week worked from home.
