Risk Manager Overview

DCS is searching for a performance-driven Risk Manager to support US Army programs. The ideal candidate will have a focus on analytical, financial, logistics, engineering, technical support, and/or management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment.

Required Skills

• Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience as a Risk Manager within the DOD environment, or 12 years of experience with a combination of a Master’s degree and 7 years of experience, or 17 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
• Experience devising systems and processes to monitor the validity of risk modeling outputs.
• Experience evaluating risks and benefits involved in implementing strategies and documenting key risks.
• Experience providing statistical risk modeling advice to other departments and maintaining input or data quality of risk management systems.
• Experience developing contingency plans to deal with emergencies and analyzing new legislation to determine its impact on risk exposure.
• Experience recommending ways to control or reduce risk and producing reports or presentations that outline findings, explain risk positions, or recommend changes.
• Experience planning and contributing to the development of risk management systems and conducting statistical analyses to quantify risk using statistical analysis software or econometric models.
• A Certified Logistics Professional certification is desired.

• Ability to obtain a secret clearance as needed.
