About the role

Oversee the risk management program within a behavioral health facility, ensuring patient and employee safety through proactive risk assessment, policy development, and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze potential risks, assess liability, and implement incident reporting systems.
• Monitor risk management program performance and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to identify and prevent clinical risks.
• Develop and deliver educational activities on full disclosure and risk prevention.
• Maintain oversight of incident review programs.
• Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Serve as a resource for risk management, policy development, and compliance initiatives.
• Create and update policies to enhance patient and employee safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, risk management, or a related field.
• Supervisory experience.
• Certifications in healthcare risk management or safety preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation certifications required.
