Brief Description The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (“The HARRIS CENTER”) is looking for a Risk Management Analyst to join our team. The Risk Management Analyst oversees the organization’s insurance claims, loss control, and safety-related activities. This role is responsible for investigating incidents, analyzing claims data and loss trends, coordinating with insurance carriers and third-party partners, and implementing strategies to reduce the frequency and severity of losses across the organization. What You Will Do Claims Management Collect, consolidate, and analyze data related to insurance claims and potential claims, including general liability, auto liability, and workers’ compensation.Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments, insurance carriers, and third party administrators.Report, monitor, and manage claims activity to ensure timely resolution and accurate documentation.Review claims and losses as they occur and recommend preventive actions to reduce recurrence. Loss Control and Safety Analyze loss trends and claims data to identify patterns, root causes, and risk drivers.Apply loss control techniques and support safety initiatives to improve organizational outcomes.Coordinate with third party loss control personnel to identify exposures and mitigation strategies.Support or participate in safety assessments and loss prevention activities. Investigations, Compliance, and Insurance Administration Lead or support accident investigations using root cause analysis or similar methodologies.Recommend and monitor corrective actions to prevent repeat incidents.Ensure accurate preparation and submission of insurance program applications and exposure data.Coordinate and support annual and biennial motor vehicle record reviews.Provide required insurance and claim-related data to state agencies and external partners to ensure compliance. Strategic Impact Reduces the frequency and severity of organizational losses.Improves safety, loss control, and risk awareness.Strengthens relationships with insurance carriers and third-party partners.Supports financial stability through effective claims management and prevention. What Qualifications You Will Need Bachelor’s degree in risk management, safety, business or a related field.3 years of experience managing general liability, auto liability, and worker’s compensation claims.Experience in healthcare, governmental, or nonprofit environments preferred.
