Risk Management Process Support
Provide comprehensive administrative support for the Director of Risk Management and the Risk Management Department, including but not limited to, appointment scheduling, meeting preparation, meeting notes, email and correspondence support, travel booking, invoice processing, expense report support, departmental project coordination, and other support needs.
Anticipate the Director’s daily needs by preparing files, reports, presentations, meeting materials, follow-up items, and other resources necessary for meetings, calls, events, and departmental initiatives.
Cook logistical and technical support for Risk Management meetings, trainings, events, and internal communications.
Maintain organized department records, files, templates, presentations, process documents, and other materials to support accurate and efficient department operations.
- Provide administrative and data-entry support for Risk Management department tracking systems.
- Serve as backup support for driver-related documentation and certificates of Insurance processing during periods of high volume or team absence.
- Aid Risk Management team members with daily work, backup support, and research needs during periods of high volume, absence, or special projects, including backup coverage for department compliance administrative tasks and insurance/accounting data-entry support as needed.
- Assist with tracking deadlines, open items, documentation requests, and other time-sensitive department matters.
- Support organization-wide risk management projects by coordinating follow-up, collecting information, maintaining records, and communicating with appropriate stakeholders.
- Assist Risk Management Director with administrative needs when the International Crisis Management Team is activated.
Department Liaison and Customer Service
Serve as a professional representative of the Risk Management Department when interacting with staff, field personnel, departments, vendors, and external contacts.
Act as a liaison between the Director of Risk Management, department personnel, internal customers, and other organizational stakeholders as requested.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with individuals at all levels of the organization, helping promote understanding, responsiveness, and trust in Risk Management processes.
Serve a collaborative, service-focused, and professional team environment.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintains supplies and for the department and ensures printers remain operational.
- Participate in Navigators’ on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.
- Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required.
- Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
- Participate in weekly Devotional time with Risk Management department.
