Risk & Insurance Analyst, Construction

What You'll Do

• Contracting: Focus on global insurance policies for Tesla's Texas construction business, assisting in the review and negotiation of corporate contracts, particularly those involving insurance, liability, and indemnity clauses.
• Evidence of Insurance: Process, manage, and track certificates (or letters of insurance) with internal and external stakeholders.
• Vehicle Reporting and Evidence: Assist in the tracking, documenting, and reporting of vehicle and driver information; manage proof of insurance for fleet vehicles.
• Administration: Aid in insurance-related subjectivities, vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years experience in corporate risk management, insurance, or an insurance broker environment.
• Expert knowledge of Workers Compensation, OCIP/CCIP insurance programs, commercial insurance, insurance contract language, and insurance underwriting and claims processing.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and communicate effectively with insurance and non-insurance professionals.
• Able to work independently and prioritize workload while meeting required goals and deadlines.
• Able to develop strategic relationships and work collaboratively domestically and internationally.
• Proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
