Support Credit & Portfolio Management functions by managing construction draws for a portfolio of commercial loans using a risk-based approach. Conduct comprehensive Construction Draw Analysis, collection of Construction/Project related documents. Routine monitoring of commercial credits by way of covenant tracking, servicing borrower inquires, and facilitating the gathering of essential portfolio data is essential. Assist in the development and execution of monitoring policies and procedures to manage credit risk effectively and efficiently. Understand the credit culture and risk tolerance as outlined by senior management and the Board, and proactively identify and mitigate potential threats against the safety and soundness of the loan portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Draft decision recommendations based on project progress, budget adherence, and lien releases.
• Monitor construction progress reports, identifying potential delays or risks.
• Coordinate with borrowers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve draw-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to bank policies, regulatory requirements, and funding conditions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all draw requests and approvals.
• Review and understand basic aspects of construction and construction documents to apply towards your review and analysis of a construction draw package.
