Risk Coordinator

Job Description

• Coordinate project risk meetings with project managers, estimators, and other project stakeholders.
• Facilitate the identification of project specific risks and assist in qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
• Engage the project subject matter experts to clearly articulate risks, risk severity, and response.
• Document risks and responses in a Risk Register throughout the project lifecycle.
• Generate project Risk Reports to communicate to project stakeholders.
• Audit risk-based contingencies to ensure they are being calculated in accordance with guidelines and included in cost estimates.
• Support analysis of actual costs incurred when project risks materialize and communicate lessons learned through a risk feedback process.
• Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) that are measurable outcomes tied to project risk management.
• Provide strong teamwork with colleagues, customers, and vendors, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Support process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management from an accredited college, or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management from an accredited college, or related field with 4+ years of experience.

Skills

• Proficient in use of computer and MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with a professional demeanor and commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Benefits

Compensation Grade: SP20-006

Compensation Range: $74,551.00 - $109,543.00

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
