Risk Associate Intern

About the role

This is a summer to fall internship at Fairview Cyber with potential option for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting vendor diligence summaries and reports.
• Issue vendor due diligence requests to vendors with guidance from Senior Risk Associates.
• Interface with third party providers related to the privacy, vendor management, and cyber and data security program.
• Attend committee meetings to review matters related to privacy, vendor management, and cyber and data security.
• Maintain records related to vendor management, privacy, cyber and data security practices.
• Participate in weekly Innovation and Stand-Up Meetings focusing on needs and collaboration.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards the firm and profession.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a similar field.
• Basic understanding of information security principles.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
