Risk Analyst - Portfolio Forecasting

Responsibilities

• Aid in the creation and upkeep of intricate portfolio forecasting models.
• Utilize data mining and advanced spreadsheet/technical skills to perform complex forecasting, modeling, analysis, and reporting on factors affecting portfolio performance.
• Promote innovative methods for visualizing and interpreting complex data.
• Regularly monitor and report significant changes in portfolio performance to management.
• Accurately summarize and communicate portfolio performance trends, expectations, forecast methodologies, and outcomes to management.

Qualifications

• Showcase knowledge and skills in data mining, data analysis, and visualization, along with advanced quantitative and analytical methods.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and have experience with data analysis and spreadsheet modeling/reporting.
• Have experience with coding (SAS or SQL preferred) for data mining and transformation in a data warehouse environment.
• Display strong quantitative abilities and maintain acute attention to detail.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Have a demonstrated understanding of business issues and the metrics used to assess the performance of a consumer lending portfolio.
