Risk Analyst - Control Testing

Location: Merrifield, Virginia (Hybrid) – 6-month contract role with hybrid work model available at either Headquarters or Pensacola location.

About the Role

This position will participate in the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process by performing control testing in security areas, primarily fraud operations and information security.

Responsibilities

• Execute design assessments on assigned controls.
• Follow enterprise guidelines and accepted sampling techniques to select appropriate samples for testing.
• Execute control performance testing on assigned controls.
• Document analysis, conclusions, and findings following enterprise guidelines.
• Identify the root cause of identified deficiencies and assist in the development of remediation plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three to five years of prior testing experience in internal audit or an RCSA program.
• Advanced understanding of audit techniques and risk management frameworks.

Skills

• Strong analytical thinking skills, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks under tight timeframes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and discuss findings with various levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (CIA, CISA, CPA) are a plus.
• Prior experience evaluating security business areas, including fraud operations.
