Risk Analyst

First National Bank of America is seeking an investigative and detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join the Risk Management team. This position focuses on evaluating and risk-rating third parties to identify, assess, and monitor potential risks. The role requires above-average attention to detail, a strong commitment to accuracy, and the ability to complete tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and risk-rate third parties in a manner that meets regulatory requirements and provides meaningful risk information to business units.
• Maintain contracts, business continuity plans, insurance certificates, audit reports, and other documentation for each third party.
• Produce quarterly reports for the Board of Directors regarding third-party onboarding, terminations, and significant events.
• Improve and maintain the management information system that houses third-party information.
• Collaborate with business units and teammates to map vendor products and services to bank processes.
• Identify and escalate emerging risks, such as those related to artificial intelligence or single points of failure.

Qualifications

• Database Management and Record Management experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel pivot tables and formulas.
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels within an organization through both verbal and written channels.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
