Risk Analyst

About the role

Clive Behavioral Health Hospital is a 100-inpatient bed stand-alone mental health hospital providing compassionate inpatient and outpatient care for individuals of all ages who struggle with a behavioral health disorder or co-occurring disorders. We offer a secure, healing environment and work closely with patients and their loved ones to help achieve personal treatment goals. Programs include intensive outpatient programming (IOP) for adolescents aged 13 to 17 and a substance use disorder intensive outpatient program for adults called First Step Recovery.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of risk management and performance improvement strategies.
• Identify potential risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a safe and secure operational environment.
• Assist the Director of Risk Management and Performance Improvement with auditing, data entry, camera reviews, and meeting preparation.
• Help identify, analyze, and evaluate risk management and performance improvement data.
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership.
• Maintain documentation related to risk and compliance activities such as meeting minutes and action plans.
• Review and compile quality metric data including patient satisfaction, core measures compliance, performance indicators, and action plan progress toward goals.

Qualifications

• Current computer knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; other software specialty knowledge is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in oral and written communication skills (grammar and spelling) for interaction with employees, physicians, and guests.
• Ability to professionally interact with patients, facility leadership, providers, and visitors.
• Experience within a healthcare setting, preferably psychiatric experience.
• High school degree or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• CPR BLS, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-escalation training required (training provided upon hire if needed).
