And that’s our mission. We have Risk Advisor openings on our Youth & Amateur Sports team - people who bring commercial insurance knowledge, relationships in sports, and drive to build something real. People who see a quota as a floor, not a ceiling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with risk - use our client Risk Assessment Platform and consultative approach to help sports organizations understand their exposure, build a best-in-class safety program, and select the right protection for their athletes and their organization
  • Possess a strong, current understanding of the youth and amateur sports landscape - including trends, organizations, and evolving risk environment athletes and admins face
  • Maintain a strong, active pipeline across target segments using our CRM/AMS (Applied Epic) and sales enablement tools, creating sales reports and projections
  • Own the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, risk assessment presentation, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Cross-sell/upsell across our suite of insurance and risk products
  • Continuously develop advanced product/market knowledge - competitive landscape, understanding coverage nuances, and expertise to differentiate Players Health
  • Meet and exceed structured KPI targets and revenue quotas — every quarter
  • Educate clients and prospects on insurance, risk, and athlete safety - positioning Players Health as a long-term partner
  • Provide excellent ongoing service through responsiveness & accuracy
  • Maximize renewals and retention with client engagement and high standards
  • Communicate cross-functionally to ensure service, programs, and operations teams execute for clients
  • Accurately maintain prospect, client, and deal activity in AMS and internal systems - without exception
  • Follow our sales playbook while identifying and flagging opportunities where processes can be improved
  • Participate in weekly AI-powered pitch practice - a focused 30-minute session designed to sharpen your selling skills, refine your messaging, and share what's working across the team; the risk advisors who invest in this get better, faster
  • Leverage resources to build insurance expertise & credibility
  • Contribute to a team-oriented sales culture - what's working, supporting fellow risk advisors, and understanding that a rising tide lifts all boats; individual results matter here, but so does how you show up for the team
  • Partner with Account Management, and utilize tools to create market-facing campaigns that drive pipeline
  • Contribute to building a sales culture that is high-accountability, collaborative, and mission-driven

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of commercial insurance sales experience with a demonstrated track record of growing a book of business OR 5+ years sales experience with demonstrated track record of growing a book of business
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, in good standing
  • Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying, high-activity sales role with clear, measurable results
  • Proficiency with agency CRM/AMS (Applied Epic, preferred), or comparable systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal presence and negotiation ability
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to adapt - comfort in fast-paced, high-change environments
  • Demonstrated ability to follow process and to identify where improvements should be made
  • Organized and strong attention to detail, including a commitment to accurate and timely data entry
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity - motivated by contributing to solutions, not just working around problems
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
